The Tiger Shark from Tesoro Metal Detectors uses advanced microprocessor technology to deliver maximum performance on land and underwater. Featuring Tesoro’s proven ground balancing and discrimination features, the Tiger Shark is just as powerful as the famous Bandido and Eldorado models. This amphibious machine is rated to withstand up to 200 feet of water.
A special Salt mode makes using the Tiger Shark in difficult wet salt conditions a breeze. At the flick of a mode switch the Tiger Shark is transformed into a powerful beach and diving machine, and separates it from common land based detectors. Normal mode makes use of a separate internal circuit and changes the machine’s behavior in dry land and fresh water areas.
In All Metal mode, audio threshold settings are automatically tuned with two available retune speeds. It also enables easier pinpointing of exact target locations. A full set of controls dials allow easy adjustments to critical Discrimination, Volume, Threshold and Sensitivity settings.
A standard 8 inch concentric search coil is included, while an alternative package bundled with a 10.5 inch coil is also available. An optional 7 inch search coil will provide great results when hunting for small targets like gold nuggets.
The Tiger Shark is also ideal for diving with its hip mountable layout.
