It also features a large LCD screen which continually reports numerical Target IDs, Depth and Ground Phase. A confidence level meter ensures added verification data for targets that the F5 analyzes.
Separate Discrimination and All Metal modes make the Fisher F5 versatile enough for any type of treasure hunting scenarios. An additional Pinpoint mode with its own button on the control panel enables a no-motion All Metal mode critical for locating exact target locations and potential dig sites. There are also up to 4 audio tones available for additional audible target verification and separation.
The F5 also has outstanding performance against typical issues that arise from ground mineral conditions. A 4-segment meter for Fe3O4 levels in the soil and a numerical ground phase readout makes it easy to identify and address ground balance problems. A large control dial and phase lock buttons gives detectorists excellent control and the ability to lock in settings instantly.
The F5’s performance can also easily be tweaked via the Gain control for maximum sensitivity. It also has 2 alternate frequency settings to help address EMI concerns in certain environments.
Two 9-volt batteries allow the Fisher F5 to last up to 40 hours of detecting fun. It is also easy to carry at 3 lbs with batteries installed.
