The Fisher CZ-21 is a first-rate underwater metal detector that uses multi frequency VLF technology to increase depth performance in mineralized soil, wet ocean sand and through salt water. Aside from being completely water tight up to 250 feet, the CZ-21 is also an effective land-based metal detector. It has an easy to adjust Ground Balance dial to help eliminate interference coming from ground minerals and salt. The Discrimination control lets you select signal rejection levels to filter out junk metals in heavily littered areas.
A special Pinpoint button lets you quickly verify target locations by activating the Voltage Controlled Oscillator or VCO audio which dynamically changes the audio target response’s pitch and volume as the search coil gets closer to it. Three audio Tone IDs are also available to quickly distinguish different types of metal and iron signals when using the Discrimination mode. A special Audio Boost feature also amplifies the audio target feedback when it is too faint, making it easier to detect very small pieces.
The CZ-21 is packaged with either an 8 or 10-inch search coil option and are permanently attached. It is also configurable with a belt mount for better maneuverability even underwater.
