The Garrett Ace 150 is an excellent beginner metal detector. If you’re on a tight budget or just wanting to try out the hobby before investing a lot of money then the Ace 150 might be a good option. It has some features of more expensive machines such as target ID, discrimination modes, and sensitivity adjustment.
If you’re considering purchasing the Ace 150 you might want to check out the Ace 250. For only $50 more the 250 comes with notch discrimination and the pinpoint feature. Either way you can’t go wrong as they are both excellent metal detectors with great reviews.
