Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II

The Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II is the go-to model for serious treasure hunters and professional users due to its long held reputation of being one of the most reliable and sophisticated submersible metal detectors ever introduced. It features pulse induction technology which allows it to perform optimally in salty or mineralized ground. Also featuring multi-frequency technology, the Mark II uses up to 22 separate frequency for maximum detecting performance.

The Sea Hunter Mark II features advanced microprocessor circuitry to deliver sensitivity and target response speed. Garrett’s Discrete Trash Elimination mode provides excellent trash and junk filtering while making sure signals from valuable metals are not affected. Its control interface is relatively simple and easy to use as well, with its three control dials for power/mode, trash elimination and audio threshold dials.

A set of submersible headphones complement the Sea Hunter’s underwater design. The control box housing also has excellent protection from moisture with O-ring gaskets all around. The stem can be configured in several ways; top stem, under cuff, hip mount or short stem ScubaMate arrangements for extreme versatility and comfort anywhere you go.

The stock search coil is an 8-inch Proformance mono type. Weight is at 5.1 lbs with its heaviest stem-mounted configuration. The Sea Hunter can last up to 22 hours with a set of 8 AA batteries, depending on usage and how many targets you detect.
