I managed to land permission to hunt an old picnic grove area that was situated between a bunch of residential houses. It didn’t take long to realize this was a honey hole so I called dad up to join me.
On one of his first visits Dad found a Walking Liberty Half, standing quarter, and 4 silver dimes all in one day. I’m sure I took a picture but can’t find it anywhere so I only have a picture of my finds. I got a 1964 Washington, 1943 and 1944 merc, and 1953 and 1963 roseys for a 5 silver day. We walked away with 11 silvers total for the day and had a blast.
