The top model in the X-TERRA range, the 705 offers the complete detecting experience by adding a Gold Prospecting mode to its feature set. Automatic Pinpoint and Ground Balance settings also separate it from the rest of Minelab’s Adventure Detector line. It takes the best features from its less accomplished siblings in the line and further improves on them, making the 705 an extremely versatile and high performing machine.
A second Pinpoint mode called Sizing, provides added size and shape information for identifying targets alerting the use via variable audio tones and graphical indicators. The Minelab 705 now offers 28 notch segments making it the most detailed detector in the range.
Small targets are made easier to find with the improved sensitivity of its Prospecting mode, making it suitable for aspiring nugget hunters. Using this preset, one can also enable the new Iron Mask Discrimination mode giving you more control for identifying more valuable non-ferrous items.
The 705’s large LCD screen is also backlit allowing it to be used in most lighting conditions. It also remembers your most recent settings. Custom settings can also be saved, which can be tailored to fit the needs of your favored ground conditions.
