The Minelab Safari is designed to deliver cutting edge performance with simple turnkey operation. This multi frequency metal detector offers the same 28 frequency technology also found in the E-TRAC and Explorer SE Pro models ranging from 1 to 70 kHz. Labeled Full Band Spectrum or FBS, the Safari’s multi-frequency circuitry integrates powerful microprocessor technology allowing for better detecting depth, sensitivity and resistance to interference.
The Safari’s detection screen provides a wide discrimination range providing 51 segments on a graphical scale for target reference along with corresponding Target ID numbers in clear view. The user selectable Trash Density settings enables it to quickly adapt to hunting grounds with high levels of ground mineralisation or unwanted junk targets. Advanced digital filtering enables the Safari to automatically adjust to and eliminate ground mineralisation effects. Preset Discrimination patterns can also be easily modified to suit the environment and custom user modes can be easily stored on the machine’s internal memory.
All these advanced features are fitted to an easy-to-use menu interface and an ultra lightweight 11 inch waterproof search coil. The Safari is also available in the Pro Pack bundle which includes a rechargeable batter pack and a pair of headphones with left-right volume controls,
