Minelab GPX 5000

The Minelab GPX 5000 is top of the range gold detector, taking away the throne from the GPX 4500 of the previous generation. It is specially tuned to be able to locate sub-gram gold pieces through tough soil. Packing Multi Period Sensing and Dual Voltage technology, it comes with six Preset Search Modes and a Custom user mode. The GPX 5000 has several features that allow it to automatically adjust ground balance, threshold, noise cancel among others, giving you more time to cover more area. The GPX series is well known for its outstanding depth advantage over other gold detectors.

It has three exclusive Search modes for unknown patches of land, high-trash areas and Pinpointing. New Soil/Timings like Fine Gold for very small gold nuggets and Salt/Gold for beaches and the like, give you exactly the right settings quickly and ensures the detector is dynamically tuned to detect valuable pieces anywhere you go.

It adds 3 more Soil/Timings presets (Coin/Relic, Salt/Gold and Fine Gold) over the GPX 4800 allowing you to take advantage of Minelab’s exclusive Smart Electronic Timing Alignment or SETA technology to easily tune the machine accurately even in the most difficult ground conditions. The backlit LCD menu now allows saving custom user settings in its internal storage. No more time consuming adjustments when on the field.

The GPX 5000 has a Boost audio setting to increase target signal response in mild conditions ideally away from ground noise. Supplied is a lightweight Li-ion battery pack which integrates an small audio amplifier you can easily connect to external speakers.
