The Teknetics Gamma 6000 is a lightweight metal detector that couples advanced features and automatic modes for trouble free treasure hunting. The Ground Grab feature provides automatic ground balance calibration of the metal detector to interference caused by highly mineralized soil. A ground mineralization readout also provides valuable information about current ground conditions to allow you to search more efficiently. Two search modes, Discrimination and All Metal, make the Gamma 6000 a versatile performer in any situation, even in high trash areas.
The Gamma 6000 features a large LCD screen with an easy to use rubber-button interface. Settings changes are easily accessible through the highly intuitive menu system. A 2-digit numerical Target ID readout provides great accuracy and can be fine-tuned to up to 79 discrimination adjustments. There is also a category-based target indicator on the main face of the control box.
A special Pinpoint mode provides an easy way to zero in on your desired target’s location. A 3-segment depth indicator provides accurate target depth. There are 4 audio tones to help identify targets when they are passed over.
The Gamma 6000 comes with an 8-inch concentric search coil and weighs only 2.3 lbs. It also features a battery level indicator to display the available energy left in the 9-volt battery.
