The Minelab X-TERRA 305 manages to pack a lot of useful features at a relatively low price. It features an accurate Target ID system and is very easy to use. It also has excellent balance and lightweight for all types of users.
Some have mentioned questionable build quality found on their units. Depth performance may also not be as powerful to some user’s liking. Buttons on the control panel are said to stick including the button for Pinpoint mode. Reports of better performance in All Metal mode have also been noted.
